This special ring is centered with an ancient Roman carving the Minerva, the goddess of wisdom and healing. She was carved in the 1st to 2nd century A.D. and likely acted as someone's private signature. To showcase its brilliance we surrounded it with peridot and amethyst cabochons. 

Peridot was thought to protect against nightmares and brought the wearer confidence, good-luck and health. In fact, it is believed that some of Cleopatra's famous emeralds were actually peridots. Peridot is referred to as "the emerald of the evening" because its rich olive-green colour that remains constant in artificial light. Found on the Shrine of the Three Magic in Germany's Cologne Cathedral and, more recently, in Kashmir. 

Amethyst is a mediative and calming stone, which works on the emotional, spiritual and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience and peace. Emotionally, Amethyst is used in crystal healing to help heal personal losses and grief. It has gently sedative energy that can promote peacefulness, happiness and contentment. It is said to bring emotional stability and inner strength.
